So who is Herr Hirny?

Herr Hirny is a very special creature. His head is his brain. The brain is the organ that is capable of storing and retrieving information, knowledge of the world, images and emotions. Herr Hirny is curious by definition... He’s interested in the world, he wants to get to know things. He collects information about the world, he discovers it. As he is not from this world, every object or phenomenon is a new exciting adventure for him. Herr Hirny is basically a “brain agent”, a flying, rushing creature, who wants to find out about the the human world as much as he can. He is elegant, like James Bond. He has extraordinary abilities, he can fly like Superman. However, he is smaller than humans. For him, even a sugar cube is an obstacle that he has to overcome or conquer. And as he cannot use anything properly, merely through his presence, his existence, he points out mistakes, disturbances in the way the world works. Herr Hirny is capable of learning. He has no sense organs but he can “grow” eyes or ears any time he feels like it.He does not live or eat like human beings. We also have some information about his background and inner world but these seldom appear in the parts of the series. He is from another world, his own world where he belongs. The “Brain Trust”, his house and independent empire is somewhere outside the Earth. Herr Hirny is a little lonely in this empire, he has only a dog and a bird, nice and loveable creatures, who help him, make him company and help him relax. This is Hirny’s “home base”, this is where he sets out for new adventures and this is where he returns from them. Herr Hirny comes to Earth with a friendly attitude but people hardly pay attention to him. They often do not even notice that he is around them and would like to get closer to them. Most of the time this causes trouble and difficulties for him.
